Bring
- Valid identity document for each person
- Residence evidence where applicable
- Proof of the Utrecht address
- Original birth, marriage and other civil documents
- Translations and legalisation where required
Short stay and RNI
RNI may apply for a stay under four months. Utrecht accepts RNI registration only with a European passport or identity card; other passport holders are directed to Breda or Venlo.
A completed RNI registration normally provides the BSN immediately.
Keep evidence of the earliest available appointment
If appointment demand prevents an immediate visit, save the booking confirmation and any correspondence. The municipality still decides what additional action is needed.
