Arrival & settlement control centre
Turn your first weeks in the Netherlands into a controlled plan.
Start with your registration route, then resolve the dependencies around a BSN, address, bank account, health insurance, school, childcare and your next move.

Which registration path usually applies?
Start with BRP registration. Register with the municipality where you live, normally within five days after arrival. The municipality records you in the BRP and issues your BSN. Compare BRP and RNI.
RNI registration may apply. Non-resident registration is generally intended for people staying four months or less. Check the RNI desk requirements before booking. Read the comparison.
Do not assume you have no route. Check whether temporary accommodation can be registered, whether a correspondence address is possible, and what evidence your municipality accepts. Start here.

Municipalities make registration decisions and may request additional documents. Verify the final checklist with the municipality responsible for your address.
